Referrals
PLEASE NOTE: Ascot Vale Paediatrics has now reached patient capacity. We anticipate reviewing this decision in mid-2026.
To ensure we can continue providing high-quality care to our current patients, we have made the difficult decision to close our books to new paediatric behavioural and developmental referrals. Sibling referrals of existing patients will be triaged for acceptance.
We will continue to welcome and triage general medical and baby referrals (under 12 months), with short wait times. Appointments for these patients are prioritised and scheduled according to clinical need and urgency.
Our Nurse Practitioner, Sonia Evans, may be able to support the care of some of your general medical patients. You can find more information on the page 'About us'.
Our allied health team remains open for referrals and appointments.
We understand these limitations may be challenging for families, and we appreciate your understanding as we work to ensure safe and timely appointments for those already under our care.
Please organise a referral to another paediatric practice or psychiatrist if required.

We also aim to be a fun and friendly place to work from, with ample opportunities to de-brief over coffee or catch up as well as regular team social events scheduled!
